I have to admit, though, the sections do look pretty good right now. Roy: You know, the integer between 6 and 8? This thread is now about Midbus the /b/tard and ponyfag must be killed because this is SMWC, not 4chan and also My Little Pony is for 6 year old girls and pedophiles who stalk and fap to said little girls. Get to it, boys! This isn't good enough! Hip hip! *whip* Two hacks are waiting to be moderated now. It's enough to have hack which fits every guideline (so no flunchers, cut-off or blatant level edits), it's accepted (the Teh Hack example was intentionally like this, it had competely unfitting music and boring/easy levels). (Also yay I like to intentionally miss the point.) Does that mean this site has high acceptance standards, or low featuring standards? (The acceptance standards seem all right to me (from my experience with hack removal logs), though.) Wait, over 1/5 of the hacks are featured? That's quite a large portion. GlitchMr, the 522 accepted hacks includes the 109 featured ones. Wow, Outrageous Mario World has a rating of 0.7! Is that the lowest rated hack on SMWC ever? Posted by: SacredSilverYoshi - 06:18:29 PM (I'm a little behind the time I think XP) With all these people complaining, I find myself wondering, what are the pros/cons of bsnes vs zsnes. I can't really list all of them but here are the main ones:

I dunno about how hard it is on Mac though, all I can say is that the compilation guide makes it seem troublesome but not impossibly so. There's also the fact that it's somewhat harder to use for people on a Mac or Linux do to the fact that you have to compile it yourself, but apparently it's really easy on Linux. I used to use ZSNES all the time, and I don't miss anything after having switched to bsnes.

NTSC gamma ramp, custom video filters (though this one is sort of hard to take advantage of) and the ability to choose which audio/video drivers to use.Ī lot of bsnes's features are really only worthwhile if you're sort of a nitpicker, but they're nice to have. To clarify: bsnes lacks things like recording video and specific control over speed, but has a lot of miscellaneous little features otherwise. What's wrong, guys? You don't like ponies? Would you prefer some Homestuck? I'll have to play it sometime to see why it's rated THAT low.

Why do you need bsnes to have the features you like in zsnes if you only need it for testing? You are not required to use bsnes as your main emulator, only to make sure your hack is compatible with it.īut if you still want features, the Qt version of bsnes (v072 (you can find v071 in my sig, 072 is only a minor update for soft-patching with UPS patches) was the last functioning Qt release before byuu dropped it for his phoenix version (less features, more straight-to-the-point)) has a few, such as movie recording (but not dumping), speed settings, and layer and music channel disables.
